How the fund is run

Research

Analysts build the case

Each analyst covers a sector and researches ideas in depth: the business, the valuation, and the main risks.

Decision

Ideas are pitched and debated

Analysts present their thesis to the fund manager and the team, and defend it before a position is opened or resized.

Oversight

Faculty review

Five faculty advisors oversee the portfolio and the process, and the fund reports to WPI's Board of Trustees.

Joining the Fund

Analyst seats are filled through an application, usually from active Association members. Applications are announced by email. The best way to prepare is to come to meetings and pitch a stock.
