About
The WPI Investing Association is a student organization at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Mission
We help WPI students understand how markets work and how investment decisions are made. We do that through meetings, guest speakers, workshops, and competitions, and through a student-managed fund that invests real money.
Membership is open to every student, regardless of major or experience.
History
Founded
Started by a small group of WPI students with mock pitches and paper trading.
Growth
Membership grew to more than 300 students, with trading competitions, networking events, and members building their own analysis tools.
The Fund begins investing
WPI's Board of Trustees approved a $300,000 allocation, and the student-managed fund began investing real capital.
